We then continue with a wine tasting in a wine cellar, where an expert will explain more about the history of wine-making in Istria. There will be no shortage of homemade wine, cheese and prosciutto to enjoy in this gorgeous setting and pristine nature.
We will visit an organic olive farm, where you will be able to see how olive oil is made and find out everything there is to know about olive oil’s medicinal properties. After that comes an olive oil tasting, where we will teach you how to distinguish the best-quality olive oils.
On to the next wine cellar and tasting in a typical Istrian style, where you will also learn how to tell the difference between various wines and judge which one you like the most. There will be plenty of cheese and prosciutto here as well.
As this is a day of wine tasting, we will no doubt be visiting another wine-maker and partake in another fine Istrian wine.
